An excellent battle between Newton Abbot and our nearest rivals Paignton in the open air pool at Kingsteignton in bright sunshine! The two clubs were neck and neck for most of the gala, with Paignton edging in front and Newton closing the gap, but not quite enough by the end. Oddicombe, Brixham and Torquay Leander filled the other 3 lanes in the pool and there was a great atmosphere with spectators enjoying the sunshine and the spectacle! Final positions:
st - Paignton 213
nd - Newton Abbot 204
rd - Torquay Leander 109
th - Brixham 104
th - Oddicombe 32
