Ryan Rogers was Newton Abbot SC's top performer at the Exeter City Swimming Club Level 2 Long Course Open Meet.
Rogers claimed a silver medal in the 50m butterfly and added a bronze in the 50m backstroke.
He almost added a third medal to his collection, but had to settle for fourth in the 100m freestyle.
It was a high standard of meeting, which was aimed at regional qualifiers and was held in the 50m pool at Millfield School.
It was the first time in the big-sized pool for three of Newton Abbot's contingent, Rosie Allen, Emma Collyer and Niall Grant, and provided valuable long-course experience.
The club's other swimmers were Sammy Basham, Emma Silk, Charlotte Wright and Nicole Wickens.
Wickens came close to winning a couple of medals, coming fourth in both the 100m butterfly and 50m freestyle.
Wright and Silk also had good swims in the 200m backstroke, and both achieved a personal best long-course time.
