Dear swimmers, parents and members

I am writing to thank you all for the beautiful gifts and cards that I received to commemorate my time with you at the Club.
I was truly overwhelmed and would like to thank the President and fellow coach Adrian Brown for the kind words spoken when I was presented with a beautiful vase which I will treasure and
floral bouquet. I was particularly touched by the gifts of jewellery, a ‘Devon Flag’ towel and engraved silver trinket box that I received from the swimmers. The good wishes and sentiments from far and wide have truly bowled me over. |

| My thanks and appreciation goes to all of the teachers, coaches and assistants, past and present who I have worked with to deliver a programme which has seen significant improvement of our swimmers. I wish you all continued success with your coaching and teaching. |

| I have lots of special memories of my time at Newton Abbot to look back on and will support and follow the Clubs’ progress, with my friend and colleague Jo John in place as Head Coach, to whom I wish every success.The final word must be to all of the swimmers. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time coaching you and have been constantly amazed by your effort and positive attitude towards training and competition, as well as supporting your fellow swimmers. You have given me immense pride in my role as your Head Coach and wish you everything that you wish for yourselves. |
